Anna Zaderej, a kitchen and bath designer at Morrison's Home Improvement in Lenox, has been collecting supplies from generous donors in Berkshire County to help Ukrainian refugees.
Her church, St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Troy, has partnered with St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Watervliet to off-set the cost of shipping the donations to Poland. Anna and her husband have been bringing local donations via a U-Haul to their church and all donations are loaded on a tractor trailer, which transports the donations to New Jersey to be flown to Poland. Two tractor trailers have already been sent out.
