You can make a difference in your community by donating your time and talent. Help fulfill a volunteer need at a local nonprofit or join a community project. Through our free online Volunteer Center, we match community members with opportunities to support a nonprofit of their choosing or based on interests, as well as work with nonprofits to access the portal and update needs. We also partner with nonprofits to facilitate volunteer projects in the community. Sign up and start volunteering!
Volunteer Month
Annually in the spring time, we host a month of volunteer events and activities that bring the community together to support our neighbors.
Community Celebration
Berkshire United Way recognizes the difference volunteers make in our community through their donation of time and talent to support nonprofits and participating in events that address food insecurity and basic needs, and promote literacy. We present the Robert K. Agar Jr. Volunteerism Award and Daniel C. Dillon Helping Hands, Caring Heart Award at our Community Celebration.

We partner with the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires to present volunteer fairs that pair community members with volunteer opportunities at diverse organizations throughout Berkshire County.
