Berkshire United Way is excited to partner with the City of Pittsfield and Downtown Pittsfield Inc. to celebrate its 100th anniversary during First Fridays at Five.

Activities to date include:

  • School Supply Drive (details below)
  • Book House station
  • Birthday crowns and coloring pages (crayons will be provided)
  • Temporary tattoos
  • Balloons
  • Chalk art

School Supply Drive


Berkshire United Way will collect school supplies during First Fridays at Five to benefit teachers and students in the Pittsfield Public Schools.

To help fill the closets with most needed supplies, we have created an Amazon wish list based on what teachers have requested.

Organized by the City of Pittsfield and Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., First Fridays at Five is Berkshire County's largest and most unique happening of the year. Enjoy live music, dance, art making, family fun, food, and a makers market on the first Friday of every month.
