Who We Are
Berkshire Community Action Council (BCAC) was incorporated in 1966 as a nonprofit human service organization and was designated the anti-poverty Community Action Agency for Berkshire County. The administrative office is located at 1531 East Street, Pittsfield, with a satellite office at 85 Main Street, North Adams. The role of BCAC is to assist low-income residents of Berkshire County toward achieving sustainability and self-sufficiency.
What We Do
Berkshire Community Action Council works with our community to find creative and sustainable solutions that promote economic stability and alleviate the destabilizing effects of poverty on our neighbors here in the Berkshires.
