This guide was prepared by the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, in cooperation with the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority, the Berkshire Regional Coodination Council on Transporation, and the U.S. Department of Transportation – Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration.
Berkshire Regional Transit Authority
All BRTA fixed routes and ADA services are free to all customers through June 30, 2026. Fares will not be collected on board buses. Non-ADA services are not free. Plan your trip

Link413 is a new regional commuter bus service for Western Massachusetts. Link413 services operate across Berkshire, Franklin, and Hampshire Counties as a partnership of the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA), Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA), and the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA). Route 901 Pittsfield - North Adams: will travel one way in approximately 45 minutes between Pittsfield and North Adams.
Route 903 North Adams - Greenfield: will travel one way in approximately 90 minutes between North Adams and Greenfield via the communities of Adams, Savoy, Plainfield, Ashfield, and Charlemont
Route 904 Pittsfield - Northampton: will travel one way in approximately 90 minutes to connect customers between Pittsfield and Northampton along the Route 9 corridor with intermediate stops in the communities of Dalton, Windsor, Cummington, Goshen, and Williamsburg.
