Volunteers joined Berkshire United Way and Northern Berkshire United Way for a StoryWalk™ at Berkshire Family YMCA in North Adams on April 22. On April 23, volunteers from Barrington Stage Company and Carr Hardware joined Berkshire United Way for a StoryWalk™ in Pittsfield, reading to kids from the Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, and Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center.
Thank you to author Dan Sadlowski for signing books and reading at both events. Every kid went home with a copy of Dan's book, The Universe is Rooting for You, which was the book of choice for the StoryWalks™. Older kids also got a copy of his book Finding Brooklyn - And The Next Great Superhero.
