#HereForGood Volunteer Month | Spring Cleanups

Throughout April, many volunteers helped clean up around schools and organizations, at trails and parks, and along roadsides, as well as plant trees and paint benches.

Activities included:

  • Pittsfield UNICO team cleaning up around Silvio O. Conte Community School.
  • Volunteers joining Northern Berkshire United Way to spruce up downtown Adams.
  • Cleanupcrew413, a grassroots group of young volunteers, cleaning up parks and more throughout Pittsfield.
  • Volunteers giving the flower beds and benches a fresh coat of paint at Conte Community School.
  • Lenox students and parents, and community volunteers, planting trees throughout the county as part of a fundraiser by the Climate Crisis Control Club, led by teacher Scott Wade.
  • Berkshire Natural Resources Council, along with volunteers, including from Lee Bank, cleaning up the trail at Alford Springs.
  • A team from EDM - Architecture, Engineering & Managing cleaning up around the Christian Center.
  • A team from Neenah Technical Materials cleaning up at 18 Degrees.
  • Volunteers joining Construct Inc. for a roadside cleanup in South County (not pictured).
