Volunteers from Greylock Federal Credit Union (a #HereForGood Volunteer Month lead sponsor), UNICO, MCLA, Rotary Club of Pittsfield, and Unistress, as well as several community members, did a great job at the meal packing event on April 16 at Morningside Community School. There was friendly competition among the groups, with the Rotary Club of Pittsfield packing all their boxes first. Thank you to Matthew Martin of The Outreach Program for again working with us to offer this opportunity. We packed 20,000 meals in a little over 2 hours and the boxes will be distributed to local food pantries.
